New Board member on board

Posted By Mike Daws on 31/10/2017

AU Sport would like to welcome new Board member, Noelle Smit, to the AU Sport Board. Noelle has filled the role which has been left vacant by former University of Adelaide and AU Volleyball Club member Maria Katropoulos, who has taken a promotion in a senior management role with the Commonwealth Bank in Malta!

Noelle, who graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Studies at the University of Adelaide, has strong skills in technology sales and growth and has also eight years’ experience as a Financial Controller. Noelle has helped grow the client base of two online software products across Australia and now into Asia. Noelle is co-founder of Teamgage (online software helping large organisations identify and address people and culture issues) and leads the go-to-market strategy for expansion across Australia. As COO, Noelle is responsible for Finance, Marketing, Sales and Growth. In the last 12 months, Teamgage has grown to be used by ASX 100 and Fortune 500 companies in four countries servicing clients across banking and finance, mining, oil and gas, insurance, aged care, elite sport, health and government.

Noelle has played netball since she was 7 and has been a member of the University of Adelaide Netball Club since 2002. In that time, she has been a player, selector, umpire, general committee member, served as Secretary for two years and President for two years. She has also been awarded club life membership.

AU Sport would like to thank Maria for her valued contributions to the organisation at Board and Club level and wishes her the best in her new career role. We would also like to welcome Noelle to the Board and are looking forward to her input at future Board meetings.
