The AU Cricket and Boat clubs performed excellently in February.
The Cricket club defeated Sydney Uni in Sydney in a three day game thriller. Set 350 to win in the second innings, Sydney Uni fell four runs short. A fine century from Harry Byrnes Howe in our second innings was a highlight for the Blacks.
And on the water, the Boat club all conquering men's eights, coached by club President, Mike Jeffries, took out the State title at West Lakes from a strong Adelaide crew to back up its historic win in the Oxford Cambridge Cup race last September.
Well done to both clubs.
