EXECUTIVE OFFICER 

Adelaide University Sports Association (AUSA) represents the University’s community sport and active recreation sector, and exists to provide the best possible sporting environment for students on campus.   

With over 40 sporting clubs as affiliates, the AUSA caters for elite athlete’s right through to social players. 

Based at The University of Adelaide campus, the Executive Officer will report to the AUSA Board and promote the AUSA vision and influence change.  

We are seeking applicants with the following experience:

·         Strong understanding of community sport and active recreation environment

·         Exceptional Project Management skills

·         Stakeholder Management and community liaison

·         Highly developed negotiation skills with strong communication skills (written and verbal)

·         Demonstrated financial acumen

·         Tertiary qualification in sports, recreation management or related field

·         Minimum of 2 years experience in an executive or management position with a sporting environment.

Ideally, you will also posses a solid understanding of governance practices, financial / budgeting processes, strategic planning, meticulous administrative skills, experience with risk management and OH&S, and enjoy providing leadership and effective management in a complex and ever changing environment.
