Adelaide Uni Premier League Women have launched themselves into the finals with a dominant 7-0 win over Forestville on the weekend. After a 5-3 win over Grange on Wednesday the Uni Girls had to draw or win the game against Forestville to be assured a top four finish with one game still to be played. The Black Birds started slow with a 1-0 score line at half time but piled on the goals in the second half. The girls play top ranked side Adelaide in the last round which will be a good test leading into finals.
Premier League Hockey Women Make Finals
In the 2009 season 8 out of our 14 teams have made finals with 3 teams narrowly missing out finishing in 5th position. We expect some tough games over the next few weeks but we are looking forward to bringing some silverware back to Adelaide Uni.
