Adelaide University Hockey Club's Ross Fitzgerald has taken out the top honours by winning the Premier League men's Player of the Year award in an unprecedented three way tie with Matt McGregor of Seacliff and Joel Dry of Burnside. It is the second time that the Blacks midfielder has received the award, as he was previously successful in 2005. Ross also was selected in the Premier League men's team of the year, while Adelaide Uni's Ange Harris was chosen for the women's team. Many congratulations to Ross and Ange.
