The AUSA welcomes Patrick (Paddy) Arnfield as the new Hon. Treasurer on the Board of Management.
Paddy has played football for the Blacks in the Division 2 reserves team ever since he began his studies at Adelaide University in 2008. He is currently on the Football Club's social committee and also has an active role in recruiting school leavers to the club. He was a member of the Australian University Games football team for the University in 2008, which he hopes to "re-convene" in 2010.
He is studying for a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree and has completed three week placements at three accounting firms in the last six months.
The Board still needs to fill the casual vacancy for one General Committee person for the period to the AGM in May and, accordingly, is re-advertising the position through the website and the affiliated clubs.
Nominees should include, with their nomination, a brief summary of their involvement in sports administration/management and indicate the reasons for their interest in University sport. Nominees must also be members of one of our affiliated clubs.
The closing date is 5pm on Tuesday, 2 March, 2010 with the Executive Officer.
