Team manager, Caitlin Stanley reports that all is going well on the Gold Coast with AU team spirit at its peak.
Women's Beach Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Mixed Netball are all playing off for medals on Friday. Here's hoping for some good results tomorrow!
Wednesday
Our first gold medal - Alex Burgin from Fencing. Many congrats from all!
With Ulimate Frisbee playing for gold today and men's basketball, women's beach volleyball and mixed netball all undefeated to date, we are hoping for some more medals over the next two days. As well, women's volleyball remains in the mix for a medal.
A special mention to Elias Arcondoulis, our shot putter, who threw his second best throw ever and finished in a creditable fifth place.
All is going well on the injury front with the only report on the day being a soccer player, who unfortunately suffered concussion following a clash of heads on the field.
Tuesday
Another good day for AU teams on the Gold Coast...
The basketball men's team is currently undefeated, while promising performances have been registered by hockey men and women, ultimate frisbee, beach volleyball mixed and women's teams and the mixed netball.
A special mention to the handball team, which consists of a number of athletes new to the sport, but drew today against a team of established players.

Monday
It's 28 degrees and warm & breezy in the words of sunburnt Team Manager, Caitlin Stanley.
A mixed first day for all of our teams, with the highlight being the girls' basketball team with a win and a tie in their first two games.
Assistant Team Manager, Helen Turner, reported that the Opening Ceremony was fantastic and Adelaide Uni's teams are supporting each other well.
