The Vice-Chancellor, Professor James McWha, kindly hosted a lunch in the University Staff Club for members of the winning Oxford Cambridge rowing eights in late October.
Nick Andrew, the stroke for the crew, officially handed over the trophy to the Vice-Chancellor at the lunch.
Also present were the Boat Club President and coach of the crew, Mike Jeffries; Fearnley Szuster, who was a member of the winning crews in 1974 and 1979, and AUSA President, Andres Munoz-Lamilla.
