Engineering takes main prize

The Engineering Computer and Mathematical Sciences (ECMS) faculty has emerged triumphant in the inaugural Vice-Chancellor's Cup footrace held in early September.

The Cup culminated a week of recreation activities on the Barr Smith Lawns (as part of IFAR Week) and was well supported by each faculty and cheering students.

The ECMS team of Adelaide Harbison, Stephen Jelfs, Jeff Dutschke and Amelia Grieg (pictured below from left to right) ran extremely well, finishing ahead of the Health Sciences team in second place.

The other faculties were represented by:

  • Professions - Gabrielle Appleby, David Caruso, Daniel McCabe and Sophie Ootes
  • Sciences - Cadence Minge, Lewis Tunstall, Sean Burton and Tiffany Yip
  • Humanities - Georgina Hadwen, Christopher Button, Patrick McCabe and Erin Zimmerman
  • Health Sciences - Denise Furness, Evan Atlantis, Mark Hassall and Katie Stranks
