Adelaide University Badminton Club1954
Welcome to the Adelaide University Badminton Club. For over 50 years the club has been offering the University community the opportunity to participate in social games and competition matches. The club is affiliated with SABA (South Australia Badminton Association), which is in turn affiliated with Badminton Australia. For 2009 the club offers a social and competition membership. The social sessions are held on Sunday Afternoons at St Peters College Gymnasium Complex, located on Hackney Road . These sessions go from 4.00-6.00 pm on Sunday. Cost for social membership in 2009 is $40, or alternatively for one session it will cost $5 (shuttles included) with an additional $2 if a racket is required. Competition commences in April, $15 for registration and $9 for every night you play. Competition is played on tuesday(A Grade) and Wednesay (B & C Grade)/ Trainings session : TBA The location of the competition is at lockleys oval What If I Don't Have A Racket? The club has a number of rackets for hire during social trainings @ $2 per racket. Club members receive free racket hire. What If I Want To Play Without Joining? If you do not wish to become a member, you may still play on a casual basis on Sunday evenings. The cost is just $5 per session, including shuttles.
