AUSA Clubs were out in full force during O Week, recruiting members, showing off their skills and generally just having a great time. AUSKI had a very "technically advanced stall", with televisions, music and wii snowboarding and Scuba, Sailing and Waterski were showing off their boats and equipment to the passing students. Whilst most club representatives opted for a traditional stall, swimming club members enjoyed the week in a blow-up pool and Volleyball, Badminton, Boat, Gliding and Frisbee players were keen to involve everyone that stopped by!
Most clubs signed up record-breaking numbers, with Soccer inspiring over 300 people throughout the week. Sports demonstrations by Rugby, Judo, Volleyball, Tae Kwon Do, Fencing and Wing Chun Kung Fu were also held on the Barr Smith Lawns each day. In other news, Fencing had an ex-Australian Olympic medallist sign up to the club and the Table Tennis Club made a come-back to the AUSA sporting list.
The AUSA would like to thank all the clubs that were involved throughout the week. If you have any feedback from the 2010 event, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
