Bronze at the Southern Uni Games
The Adelaide University Volleyball Club recently returned from the Southern University Games (SUG) with a bronze medal around their necks. The Club sent 2 female and 2 male teams to Bendigo to compete against Universities from Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
This was the largest Adelaide University Volleyball squad sent to a University Games event. The boys finished a respectable 4th and 5th, whilst the girls were 3rd and 6th.
The SUG gave players, who will not attend the Australian University Games (AUG), the opportunity to compete in an inter-varsity event. Congratulations to all those who competed and all the best at the AUG in September!
