Represent the University of Adelaide at the Southern Uni Games instead! The standard of competition is high, the social activities exclusive and, this year, it's all happening in the Cats: Geelong, from July 2 - 6.
What's it all about? The SUGs are the regional/qualification event for the Australian University Games (AUG), hosting universities from South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania across 20 sports. Your typical Uni Games day will go a little something like this:
- WAKE UP! (you've got a game in 20 minutes)
- Throw down some Powerade with a cheese and bacon roll to go
- Limber Up
- Get your Game Face on, it's match time
- Celebrate beating Melbourne University
- Repeat steps 3 - 5, with carb loading and VIC vs SA bantering in between
- And after all of that, it's off home for some post-game strategizing with the team...dressed in a Jungle-inspired costume.

AU Sport provides financial assistance for Elite Athletes, Coaches, Managers, Media Personnel and Qualification Teams. Finanical assistance will be updated soon.
SUG selections are based on ability, to ensure that the strongest possible team is selected to represent the University and qualify for the AUG.
