SEMESTER 1:

Sports O Week (20 - 22 February 2017)

The Maths Lawns will come alive with nearly 40 sporting clubs, activities, giveaways and competitions.

International Student Centre Beach Sports (16 February 2017)
FREE Beach Volleyball and Dodgeball for International students.

Waite Campus Orientation Day (28 February 2017)
An opportunity for those attending Waite Campus to see what AU Sport is all about.

Roseworthy Campus Orientation Day (2 March 2017)
An opportunity for those attending Roseworthy Campus to see what AU Sport is all about.

Social Table Tennis (18 July 2017)
Whether you’re up for a fierce competitive battle, or a game of DONKEY is more your thing, this is your chance to meet new students and have some fun.

Club in the Hub - Re-Orientation (26 July 2017)
AU Sport and clubs will be on display in Hub Central, providing information to Semester 2 students and staff about clubs, events and University Games!

SPORT EVENTS

IV Football (March 2017)
Who will be decelared Go8 University Champion of 2017? Will the University of Adelaide team be able to knock off Melblourne on their home ground? Will we be able to maintain our domanice against ANU at home? In March the ball will be bounced but who will come out victors?

Sports on the Green (17 March 2017)
A free Soccer and Volleyball event on the University fields directed at integrating international and domestic students. Music, food and competitions!

SA Challenge (31 March and 7 April 2017)

The SA Challenge is a mini "uni games" between the three South Australian Universities. It's all about participation and fighting it out against our rivals, Flinders and UniSA.

Sports include: Beach Volleyball (mixed fours), Ultimate Frisbee (mixed), Lawn Bowls (mixed), Tennis (singles), 5aside Lacrosse (mixed), Squash (singles), Badminton (mixed) and AFL 9s (mixed).

Intervarsity Rugby 7s Come and Try

The first ever Inter-Uni VIVA sevens competition will be worked off in April between Adelaide University, Flinders University & University of SA. It is a non contact sport aimed at those who want to get involved in a new sport.

City to Bay (September 2017)
Join The Blacks team in the City to Bay. We want runners and walkers to paint the town (and the sea) BLACK, whether it's over 3km, 6km or 12km.

INTER-FACULTY ACTIVE RECREATION WEEK (IFAR)

The Vice-Chancellor's Cup Trials (7 - 11 August 2017)
We are calling for University of Adelaide students & staff to trial for the annual VC Cup, a 4x800m running race through the Uni grounds. Each Faculty will be represented by a female and male staff member and a female and male student. The University's DVCA, DVCR, Service and Resources and Vice-Chancellor's Division may also have a team of 2 males and 2 females.

IFAR Week Activities (5 - 8 September 2017)
An exciting mix of free activities on the Barr Smith Lawns, Maths Lawns and in Hub Central, plus SASI Talent Search Testing.

The Vice-Chancellor's Cup (8 September 2017)
Held at the end of IFAR Week, the VC Cup is a running race around the University grounds between the 5 University Faculties and teams from University Services and Resources, DVC(R), DVC(A) and the Vice-Chancellor's Division. The prestigious trophy was won by the Faculty of Sciences in 2016.

THE BLUES AWARDS

A black tie event to celebrate the Sports stars of AU Sport. Awards are presented to recipients of Blues, Half Blues, Club Letters, Service to Sport, Club of the Year, The Patron's Cup and AU Sport Scholarships.
